Christo Van Staaden MSc Literature

Christo is a learning designer with extensive experience in the fields of employee attraction and retention, customer centricity, internal communications and organisational change (the adoption of new systems such as CRM, performance management, and reward and recognition systems) and values. He has worked with MTN, Standard Bank, FNB, ABSA, the SABC, Arivia.kom, public sector, CIPRO, DB Schenker, St Paulus School, and the University of Pretoria. Christo is also an experienced Biodanza facilitator, a published poet and holds a Masters degree in Literature from the University of Pretoria.

Dr Malcolm Birkin MBA

Malcolm has many years of executive experience in South Africa, where he started two successful manufacturing operations. He has also studied and worked overseas for a total of fourteen years, operating in all three of the world’s largest economies namely the U.S., Europe and Japan. Malcolm has unparalleled expertise in the development of people, international and cross-cultural management systems and strategies. He is an avid promoter of the best of international management systems and practices. Malcolm was one of the first to write about the concepts of the ‘Integrated Company,’ the ‘Development of International Management’ and the ‘International Evolutionary Progression’ linked to the development of management, the company, people management, people development and the development of the HR function.

Malcolm has an MBA and a doctorate in ‘growth’ economics, as well as qualifications in polymer science and automotive engineering, and in quality management and people motivation in business. While in Japan he also studied competitive strategy, and comparative management. The title of his Doctoral dissertation was Japan - Postwar Economic Growth, From Defeat to Economic Superpower. Malcolm is the author of Building the Integrated Company, published by Gower U.K,

Gibbon Bogatsu Bachelor of Theology, Train-the-Trainer Diploma

Gibbon facilitates the Diversity Management workshop in addition to being a motivational speaker. He is a pastoral counsellor and also has corporate consulting experience. In addition he is a member of the Film and Publication Board, a two times Comrades Marathon runner, has appeared as a guest on the Felicia show, Take 5, The Big Quiz & Radio 702. Gibbon has travelled extensively thus gaining exposure to the USA, Europe and 5 African States. He is fluent in English, Tswana, Afrikaans, Sotho and Zulu

Juliet Franklin
BSocSci (UCT)

Juliet has worked in the UK and in South Africa gaining extensive Human Resources experience in the Financial, FMCG Retail and public sectors. Her skills range from the generalist HR Management function, to specialising in Education, Training and Development. Juliet brings a wide range of blue chip corporate culture “know how” into her Straight Talk, Presentation Skills, Communication Skills and Time Management classes.

Louis Smit BA Econ., BCom Legal, HDip. Ed.

Louis is a Director of The Learning Spiral company. He has developed and delivers various personal development and soft skills courses such as The Success Cube, Financial Intelligence, Strategic Personal Meta-Skills, Dynamic Mission Statement.

Oran Cohen

Oran a passionate entrepreneur, consultant, facilitator, scriptwriter, designer, social entrepreneur and Change Artist. He has traveled to over 30 countries facilitating peace, conflict resolution and skills-development workshops with a focus on developing young leaders to fulfill a vision for the future. During his time in the Middle-East, he worked with Palestinian and Israeli youth in inter-faith dialogue. In 2005 he co-founded the World Spirit Youth Council with 18 other youths from around the world. WSYC is an international movement that fosters, inspires and activates spirituality within youth. The WSYC has hubs in Nepal, Japan, Thailand, Canada and Switzerland. Oran heads the Africa hub and is the coordinator of the Ubuntu Congress – Spirituality in Leadership - a gathering that will see the initiation of a Youth Spiritual Parliament with representatives of every country in Africa.

Renate Landman

Renate Landman is an executive coach to individuals and corporate teams, workshop facilitator and inspirational speaker. Her unique approach has evolved into a powerful mix, combining her extensive training with three coach training institutes and her training with Dr John F Demartini as a facilitator of The Demartini Method. Rudi Frigenti
BAdmin, BCom (Hon), MCom (Ind Psychology)

Rudi Frigenti is registered with the South African Medical and Dental Council as an industrial and counselling psychologist. He has facilitated for DGT over the past 12 years focusing on our leadership and interpersonal skills training. Rudi facilitates DGT’s Stress Management, Team Leadership, Problem-Solving, Conflict Management and Take Charge courses. In addition he lectures at UNISA to BCom Honours students.
