Coaching

Learning and training are often seen as the same. They are however two completely different advances in capacity building. Training assists one to get off the starting block. Real learning occurs over time and in ‘real-life’ contexts.

Coaching supports the learning process and can be likened to uncovering a personal SWOT analysis in order to maximise ones own performance potential in all areas of life.

The expectations and benefits of a coaching relationship are:

  • Impartial Feedback
  • Reinforcing strengths and developing perceived weaker areas
  • Encouraging independent thinking
  • Focused, clear attainable goals
  • Developing attitudes and beliefs that support you

One-on-one or team coaching is invaluable to the individual and organisation due to the intense and focused nature of this relationship.
